We’re in construction – the Mannville Hydrogen Plant is officially underway!

This month we drilled the first of three production wells and collected 11 m of core – the actual coal that will be gasified as part of our flagship Enhanced Hydrogen Recovery (EHR) facility.

Over the course of the summer, Cvictus will drill and complete two additional horizontal wells at our site in Alberta, Canada at a depth of ~1,500 m to outline the first ever EHR panel. This fall we will start up the underground gasification to produce hydrogen-rich synthesis gas to surface as the feedstock for our low-carbon products – starting with hydrogen in 2027, and methanol, ammonia, and single cell protein to follow.
